Critics have recently questioned the lyrics of Kid Rock‘s 2001 song “Cool, Daddy Cool,” which was featured on the “Osmosis Jones” soundtrack CD. Rock is still under a lot of scrutiny these days. Over the past ten years, Kid Rock has become a contentious figure due to his strong relationship with US President Donald J. Trump and his frequent endorsement of right-wing and MAGA ideologies. However, since Rock will be the star of an unofficial Super Bowl LX halftime show supported by Turning Point USA this Sunday, February 8th, the criticism against him has intensified this year. The performance, known as the “All-American American Halftime Show,” appears to be a protest against Bad Bunny and Green Day being the official musical guests scheduled to perform at the major game.
