Kid Rock responds to Conan’s Oscars dig and slams Ticketmaster in the same breath

Kid Rock, a conservative rap-rock/country musician, has responded to the criticism he received this past Sunday, March 15, at the Oscars event, as per theprp. Conan O’Brien, the host of the Oscars, made fun of Rock because Kid Rock was the star of “The All-American Halftime Show” in February. Turning Point USA presented the performance, which served as conservative-friendly counterprogramming to the official halftime act at this year’s “Super Bowl” game, which featured Bad Bunny. Allegations of lip syncing during Kid Rock’s performance at the event made headlines, which Kid Rock later sought to refute. Conan O’Brien made fun of Rock and the aforementioned event during last weekend’s Oscars broadcast.

I should warn you, tonight could get political, ok? And if that makes you uncomfortable, there’s an alternate Oscars being hosted by Kid Rock. It’s at the Dave & Buster’s down the street. There’s a lot of tickets for that.

Rock wasted no time by replying this on social media:

I love a good joke, even when I am the butt of it, unfortunately this was not a very good one. Either way, if you want to see a REAL good show this spring / summer that celebrates America and 250 years of Freedom – make sure you buy your tickets from (ugh) Ticketmaster for my Freedom 250 tour – The Road To Nashville. There is a reason for this, TRUST ME!
