Kerry King doesn’t think Slayer will perform ever again

Thrash metal veterans Slayer have finally had a well-deserved rest after a long career. The band played their last concerts in November 2019, after which we can only speculate whether we will see the longtime metal veterans together on the same stage again.

The band members are constantly asked in interviews if Slayer will ever take the stage again. Now guitarist Kerry King was asked to answer that question in an interview with Metal Hammer magazine.

Unfortunately, the answer is not to the liking of the band’s fans:

“I would [perform again]! But the way that I’m moving forward is I don’t think Slayer are ever going to play again. There’s no business of me playing by myself! Ha ha!”
