German blackened death metal powerhouse Kanonenfieber has unleashed a brand-new live album titled “Live in Oberhausen”. The album captures the raw intensity of the band’s sold-out show at Turbinenhalle II in Oberhausen, where 1,800 metalheads gathered to witness the chaos live. The night was part of the “Die Urkatastrophe” tour — a run so popular that 16 out of 20 dates sold out in advance.

Throughout the unforgettable evening, fans were treated to a relentless barrage of tracks from both the debut album “Menschenmühle” and the latest record “Die Urkatastrophe”. Notably, “Die Urkatastrophe” made serious waves upon its release, climbing the charts in Germany, Austria, and Finland. Staying true to their roots, Kanonenfieber continues to draw grim inspiration from the horrors of World War I, using authentic letters and documents to craft their unflinching narratives.

At the heart of Kanonenfieber is mastermind Noise, who writes all the music himself and brings it to life onstage with an anonymous live lineup. Produced under the sharp ear of Kristian Kohle, “Die Urkatastrophe” serves as a chilling reminder that in war, there are no winners — only lost lives and shattered humanity.
