Judas Priest’s Richie Faulkner reportedly had a heart attack at a gig – rushed into surgery afterwards

We reported on our website a while ago that metal legends Judas Priest had to postpone their upcoming tour dates due to guitarist Richie Faulkner’s heart condition. Faulkner underwent surgery, from which he is now reportedly recovering peacefully.

Now the picture gets a bit clearer with Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon taking to social media to share some information. According to Hannon, Faulkner had suffered a heart attack during a concert, after which the guitarist was rushed to heart surgery.

“Sending love and healing power to Richie Faulkner… I haven’t met him yet but he’s a rock n roll brother that my guitar playing friends all love very much and they tell me how cool of a guy he is. Wishing him a fast recovery! Hang in there Richie and I look forward to meeting / jamming with you someday! You got this!, he writes.
