The new documentary “The Ballad Of Judas Priest” will make its North American debut at the Hot Docs Canadian international documentary film festival, which will showcase documentaries from all over the world to viewers in Toronto from April 23 to May 3, as per Blabbermouth. The film is about the legendary Grammy-winning English heavy metal band Judas Priest and their incredible journey to the top of rock and roll. In February, “The Ballad of Judas Priest” made its world premiere at the 76th Berlinale, the Berlin International Film Festival. Priest frontman Rob Halford discusses the inspiration for the band’s iconic song “Breaking The Law” in the film’s first teaser clip, which debuted on Rolling Stone and can be seen below.
The Ballad of Judas Priest, which was co-directed by Sam Dunn (Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey, Iron Maiden: Flight 666), and Tom Morello, the guitarist for Rage Against the Machine, was shown for the first time at the Berlin International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany.
