Judas Priest have to postpone their tour – Richie Faulkner has “major heart problems”

Legendary heavy metal band Judas Priest have been forced to postpone their US tour. The reason for the postponement is the health problems of guitarist Richie Faulkner.

“Richie Faulkner has major medical heart condition issues which have landed him in the hospital where he is being treated. In the meantime, we are all sending love to our falcon to wish him a speedy recovery”, says the band.

The band says it will provide more information on Faulkner’s health as soon as the doctors have new information to give.

Andy Sneap is currently the band’s second guitarist, filling in for Glenn Tipton, who has left the live performances due to Parkinson’s disease.
