Jorn Lande, one of the best rock vocalists of all time, has signed with Black Lodge Records. The Norwegian vocalist is leading a revival in melodic, hard-hitting rock due to his enduring influence, unique voice, and track record, as per Blabbermouth. Lande, who has been dubbed the Norse God of metal by both fans and reviewers, has built a legendary career marked by a prolific output, extraordinary range, and clarity of tone. With over 50 records under his belt, Jorn has established himself as a global mainstay thanks to his skill as a singer as well as his composition and lyrics. His work has received praise from critics all over the world and routinely topped charts.
Lande was born on May 31, 1968, in the little Norwegian village of Rjukan, between enormous mountains. The young blond Viking spent his childhood exploring the mountains and forests while listening to Elvis Presley and bands like Sweet, Slade, Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Free, and Black Sabbath. He would go on to become one of the most well-known rock and metal singers in the world. He has put out 21 albums since the inception of his main project in 2000, with “Over The Horizon Radar” from 2022 being the most well-known and exciting. With plans for a third edition of Jorn‘s “Heavy Rock Radio” concept, which will include Jorn-ified versions of well-loved rock classics and collaborations with top performers, 2026 is already building excitement.
Jorn has worked with elite musicians throughout his career, adding his distinctive voice to each production. With a strong group that comprises guitarists Tore Moren and Adrian SB, bassist Øyvind Stroenen, drummer Francesco Jovino, and keyboardist Alessandro Del Vecchio, his live performances are known for their intensity, passion, and adaptability.
