John Runkle is the new drummer of It Dies Today

It Dies Today, metalcore band from Buffalo, New York, has announced that drummer Nick Mirusso is leaving the group. While Mirusso was a member of the band from 2002 until 2015, when the band first disbanded, he was still active in the group’s subsequent resurgence in 2023 and 2024. Additionally, Mirusso appears on each of the band’s three full-length albums. John Runkle, the drummer, will take over as the new member. Runkle will also be included in the September 13th studio release of “Sun of Dawn”.
