Jeff LaBar, guitarist of Cinderella, dead at 58
Jeff LaBar, the guitarist of US glam metal band Cinderella, has died at the age of 58. LaBar’s son Sebastian confirmed the news on social media.
“So I just got the call… Jeff LaBar, my father, my hero, my idol, passed away today,” he wrote on Instagram. “I’m currently at a loss for words.”, his son Sebastian writes in Instagram.
LaBar joined Cinderella in 1985, and his playing can be heard on all the band’s studio albums. In addition to Cinderella, LaBar also played in the band Naked Beggars, where he was joined by Cinderella’s Eric Brittingham.
LaBar also released a solo album, “One For The Road”, in 2014.
