Jay Weinberg releases official video for new single “Another Head on the Pile (feat. Fotocrime)”

Another new hit, “Another Head On The Pile,” is the result of Jay Weinberg‘s expanding string of partnerships, as per theprp. He teams up with Fotocrime/Coliseum‘s Ryan Patterson for the tune. Weinberg, who recently joined the cast of Fuming Mouth, is well-known for his previous roles in Suicidal Tendencies, Slipknot, and other bands. In the past, Weinberg has collaborated with musicians of Code Orange, Deafheaven, and Softcult. Not only has he performed on the drums, but he also took the stage for this past July’s “Drown Fountain.”

Weinberg‘s mother, Rebecca “Becky” (Schick), was a school teacher, and his father, drummer Max Weinberg, has been a member of the E Street Band since 1975. He was raised in New Jersey’s Middletown Township. Ali Weinberg Rogin, who is wed to Josh Rogin, is his sister. He was a goaltender for a travel team in ice hockey when he was younger. He first saw the E Street Band on their 1999–2000 Reunion Tour when he was nine years old. He watched performances on this and other tours, particularly in Europe. He developed a significant fondness for heavy metal and other intense music genres about the same time as his father took him to Ozzfest to see Slipknot, although he was also exposed to a wide range of other music.

At the age of nine, he started playing the guitar, and at twelve or thirteen, he started playing the bass. At the age of 14, he began playing the drums. He received very little coaching from his father and was primarily self-taught using his father’s old equipment. He appeared on stage as a guest with the band The Used and then the punk rock group the Bouncing Souls by the following year. He was a member of Chaosis, a metal band from New Jersey. He was a member of the Sadie Mae band, played on the hockey team for a while, and graduated from Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School in 2008.
