Jay Weinberg fires up the kit in a new studio chapter

Jay Weinberg, the former Slipknot member and star of Suicidal Tendencies, has been hiding out at GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts lately. Adding depth to that story, the sessions seem to have involved Mark Whelan, the guitarist and singer for Fuming Mouth. Given that GodCity Studio is his home base, it is likely that Kurt Ballou of Converge, who was also included in the photo below that Weinberg provided, directed the sessions. Fuming Mouth‘s Weinberg has not disclosed the purpose of these meetings. Last month, Keith Goldoni, the drummer for Fuming Mouth, suffered from a shattered ankle. Weinberg has been working on a new solo project in the interim.
