Jason Richardson has stated that he is leaving All That Remains after almost five years as the band’s lead guitarist. Richardson acknowledged that the breakup was amicable in a social media message, stating that he needed to focus on his own solo career and future prospects. Richardson only appeared on All That Remains‘ 2025 album “Antifragile”. Richardson joined the band in 2018 to fill in for founding guitarist Oli Herbert, who passed away tragically. Richardson performed with Born Of Osiris from 2009 to 2011, All Shall Perish from 2009 to 2010, and Chelsea Grin from 2011 to 2015 in addition to All That Remains. These days, Richardson works mostly as a solo artist. A comment regarding Richardson’s departure has not yet been released by All That Remains.
All That Remains @ATRhq and I have decided to amicably part ways. I’m incredibly proud of the record we made together and grateful for the relationships I’ve built during my time with the band. With everything happening in my own career and new opportunities that I have ahead, I need to prioritize what makes the most sense for my long-term future. There will be updates soon that I’m really excited to share with you all! I genuinely wish the rest of the band the absolute best in everything they choose to pursue. Excited for my next chapter! I’ve been grinding on a lot of different things behind the scenes and I’m feeling very optimistic rn
