Jane’s Addiction has issued a public apology for the altercation that occurred onstage last night and caused their Boston gig to finish early. Singer Perry Farrell allegedly got into an altercation with guitarist Dave Navarro over the loudness of his colleagues’ recent performances. Following the altercation, Navarro was taken offstage by the band members and bassist Eric Avery while being held. The band was celebrating drummer Stephen Perkins’ 47th birthday when the altercation ended the performance early. Their next scheduled performance is now scheduled on September 18th at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage.

We want to extend a heartfelt apology to our fans for the events that unfolded last night. As a result we will be cancelling the show in Bridgeport.
