“It was a huge thing for me to jump into Decapitated” – interview with Eemeli Bodde of Decapitated

In October, we published news on our website about the Finnish death metal band Mors Subita’s vocalist Eemeli Bodde leaving the band and joining the Polish death metal band Decapitated as their new singer.

Bodde performed with Decapitated for the first time on November 1st at Damnation Fest, held at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester, England, and you can watch video footage from that show here:

Although leaving Mors Subita certainly wasn’t an easy decision for Bodde, the leap to “bigger” circles has gone quite smoothly for the vocalist, and Decapitated fans have largely welcomed Bodde well. Chaoszine sat down with Bodde during the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise to ask about recent news and his thoughts on joining Decapitated after Mors Subita.
