English heavy metal legend Iron Maiden‘s frontman Bruce Dickinson is currently touring Europe with his solo album “The Mandrake Project,” which was released in March this year. On June 13th, the tour stopped at the sold-out House of Culture in Helsinki, Finland, and the show was something people will remember for years because of the amazing atmosphere.
Dickinson‘s solo tour continued from Helsinki to Tallinn and from there to Germany before stopping at Copenhell in Copenhagen, Denmark, where we sat down with Dickinson‘s touring bassist Tanya O’Callaghan, who has previously toured with artists such as David Coverdale (Whitesnake), Maynard James Keenan (Tool, Puscifer, A Perfect Circle), and Dee Snider (Twisted Sister). How does it feel to perform and tour with Bruce Dickinson, and how has the Irish-born, plant-based bassist ended up playing with so many world-renowned musicians during her career?
