Is Oasis reuniting?

Just a few hours have passed and this is already “the” news of today. We are talking about the English rock and Britpop band Oasis, who everyone might know for their absolutely banger song “Wonderwall” the band’s debut studio album “Definitely Maybe”.

Well, these two brothers of Oasis – Liam and Noel Gallagher – have just posted a very interesting post on their social media accounts, as well as on their official website. The new information that shocked people was the date 27.08.2024 and the time date 8am. Is Oasis teasing a reunion?

What we know by now is not much, but there have been other hints suggesting a reunion. British newspaper The Times reported two days ago that the brothers might have planned on performing a few shows in 2025, including big places like London’s Wembley Stadium and Manchester’s Heaton Park.

Liam and Noel Gallagher of Oasis broke up the band in 2009 as years of fighting resulted in a big backstage fight at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. Since then nothing like a reunion ever happened, until – definitely maybe – now.
