Iron Maiden revisit “Somewhere In Time” with anniversary graphic anthology
Author Benedetta Baldin - 4.11.2026
Iron Maiden are marking the 40th anniversary of their 1986 album “Somewhere In Time” with a new graphic anthology produced in collaboration with publisher Z2.
Titled “Somewhere In Time: The Graphic Album”, the book features stories inspired by the album’s eight tracks. A framing prologue and epilogue explore the science-fiction world of Eddie, the band’s mascot, as imagined around the album’s distinctive cover artwork.
The framing story is written by Kelly Sue DeConnick and illustrated by Andy MacDonald. Guitarist Adrian Smith has also spoken about his affection for this particular incarnation of Eddie. The book is scheduled for worldwide release on March 2, 2027. You can get your copy here for USA and Europe.
