Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain reveals he had a stroke in January: Is still not fully recovered from it

British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden has released an official statement about band’s drummer Nicko McBrain. According to the official message from the drummer itself he had a small stroke in January before the band started rehearsals for the ongoing European tour and it was uncertain whether McBrain will be able to recover enough for the tour to happen but luckily he recovered enough so that the tour could kick off.

McBrain says in the statement that he has not yet fully recovered from the stroke but is getting better and better everyday as the tour goes on. You can read the band’s official message about McBrain’s health problems below:
