Seattle-based powerviolence duo Iron Lung have announced the release of their first full-length album in 12 years. Titled “Adapting // Crawling”, the album will be released on April 18 via the band’s own label Iron Lung Records.

The band have also released a new single “Lifeless Life”, a 52 second track of raw, intense hardcore. The album deals with dark themes such as depression, a failing healthcare system and meaninglessness.

In addition to the release of the album, the band will celebrate the 18th anniversary of their label with What We Like Fest in Seattle from April 18-20. The event will feature several bands close to Iron Lung Records. The band will also play the reunion tour of Orchid in Portland and the 20th anniversary concert of Ceremony in San Francisco.
