Invincia show their epic side with “Echoes from the Past”

Finnish melodic heavy metal band Invincia return with “Echoes From The Past”, the second single and title track from their forthcoming debut album, due for release, as CD and digital, on September 25, 2026 via Escape Music.

Following the release of “Unite”, Invincia now reveal a different side of the album with a song built around a more measured, marching pace and a distinctly epic character. “Echoes From The Past” carries some of the heroic weight associated with classic heavy metal, with occasional echoes of Manowar, while remaining firmly connected to the melodic approach that runs throughout the band’s music.

Heavy riffs and a steady rhythmic drive give the track its backbone, leaving space for Kenneth Nylund’s vocals and the guitar work to shape its more dramatic passages. It is a song that develops through atmosphere and momentum, bringing another dimension to an album that draws inspiration from different corners of traditional melodic heavy metal.

The title track also sits at the heart of the record’s concept. “Echoes From The Past” reflects Invincia‘s connection with the music that shaped them, without turning the album into an exercise in nostalgia. Savatage, early Queensrÿche, Helloween, Judas Priest and Dio remain important reference points, but across the record those influences are filtered through the band’s own songwriting and increasingly recognizable sound.

Written over a period of two years, “Echoes From The Past” is Invincia‘s first full-length release following their independent EP “The Enemy Within”. The EP introduced the Vaasa-based band to an international audience.

As with the EP, the new album was mixed and mastered by Erik Mårtensson (Eclipse) at Mass Destruction Production.

The signing with Escape Music now gives Invincia the opportunity to take the next step beyond the independent groundwork of their first release, bringing their debut album to a broader international audience.
