Ingested presents their revamped line-up and releases new single “Altar Of Flesh”

British death metal band Ingested has announced their new line-up and released a new single “Altar Of Flesh”. This powerful track serves as the kick-off for the band’s upcoming North American tour, which stars this week.

Formed in 2006, Ingested has been a band fronted by original members Lyn Jeffs and Sean Hynes, known for their uncompromising vision and powerful music. Now the band has been strengthened with the addition of Josh Davies (vocals), Andrew Virrueta (guitar, backing vocals) and Thomas O’Malley (bass), all of whom have previously toured with the band.

The single “Altar Of Flesh” represents the band’s return to their roots. The song combines violent riffs, primitive energy and the intensity of the band’s early years. According to the band, this is just the beginning of a new chapter in their career, which aims to create the most impressive and relentless music of their career.

Ingested will kick off their North American tour with Aborted on 13 February in Roseville, California. The tour will end on March 15 in Phoenix, Arizona. In the spring, the band will head to Europe with Born Of Osiris, Entheos and The Voynich Code.
