Ingested part ways with their vocalist effective immediately

UK Slamming Deathcore band Ingested just suffered a huge 180º turn around on their line-up. The band, founded in 2006 and led by Sean Hynes and Lyn Jeffs nowadays, just announced via Instagram the immediate depart of their recently-joined vocalist Josh Davies.

Josh was already known for being a close member to the band, doing merch tasks for almost two years before he joined Ingested replacing their original vocalist Jason Evans after this parted ways with the band. The situation became controversial due to the unknown reasons why Evans left the band, being a known figure into the scene. Davies has already done two tours as full-time vocalist for the band, even releasing three singles and having already recorded what will be the 9th LP for the Manchester line-up.

The reason why Ingested has decided to part ways with him seem to be related with some girls that were aparently assaulted by him, the most notable one being a video posted on TikTok in the last few hours by _summerjx, which she relates her experience with Davies.

As all this information keeps emerging, the band also announced that American vocalist Adam Mercer will replace Davies at their upcoming European tour alongside Bodysnatcher, PsychoFrame and Big Ass Truck.
