Indian post metal band Dirge have released a new single titled “Endless Night”, along with an accompanying music video. The track marks the first new material from the group’s upcoming album, which will arrive later this year.

Formed in 2014, the quintet has become a steady presence in India’s underground heavy music scene. Over the years, Dirge have toured alongside acts such as Primitiv, Shepherd, Bevar Sea, and Djinn & Miskatonic. In addition, the band has opened for international artists and appeared at festivals including Bangalore Open Air and Control Alt Delete in Mumbai.

The new single follows the band’s 2023 self titled album “Dirge”. That record arrived after their 2018 debut “Ah Puch” and marked a shift in the band’s lyrical focus toward more personal themes while still reflecting broader world issues.

Meanwhile, “Endless Night” was produced by the band together with longtime collaborator Apurv Agrawal. Recording took place at Island City and Blue Cassette Studios. Agrawal previously worked with artists such as Pacifist, Cowboy & Sailor Man, and Honey’s Dead.
