Today, September 16th, marks the one-year anniversary of the unfortunate passing of vocalist Tomas “Tompa” Lindberg, known for his work with At The Gates, Disfear, and others, as per theprp. The prominent Swedish artist bravely battledadenoid cystic carcinoma, a condition he was diagnosed with in December of 2023. Sadly, this illness ultimately tookhis life at the age of 52. Despite his health struggles, he succeeded in recording the vocals for what would be his lastalbum with At The Gates, titled “The Ghost Of A Future Dead. ” This album was released posthumously in April of this year. Today, his fellow band members shared their thoughts on social media in memory of their late friend...
