Impending Doom return with new single “Holy Death”

California death metalcore outfit Impending Doom have released their new single “Holy Death,” continuing their activity into 2026. The track arrived with an official lyric video, and it marks the band’s first standalone release since last year.

The new single follows the 2025 EP “Towards the Light,” which marked the return after a longer gap between releases. With “Holy Death,” the band add another chapter to their recent output, keeping momentum going after the EP.

At this point, Impending Doom have not confirmed whether the single is tied to a forthcoming album. However, the release itself shows that the band remain active and engaged in releasing new material.
