Ill Niño guitarist De Hoyos responds on Marcos Leal’s departure and lost albums

Since July 2024, Ill Niño‘s “IllMortals Vol. 1” and “Vol. 2” recordings have remained at hold and there is no indication of when they will be released. In a recent lengthy statement, former vocalist Marcos Leal claimed that he and guitarist Marc Rizzo were the only members to play on the songs and that there was no reason they had never been released. Jes De Hoyos, the current guitarist, has now responded on social media. He asserts that Leal is merely attempting to distribute the albums for his own benefit and that pre-orders for “IllMortals Vols. 1 and 2” were reimbursed. Additionally, it appears that De Hoyos implied that Leal was fired from Ill Niño due to certain differences in lifestyle.
