Ignacia Fernández performs a track by Decessus during a talent competition once again

On Tuesday, August 25, at the Children’s Culture Center in Nha Trang, Vietnam, Ignacia Fernández, a 28-year-old model and frontwoman of the Chilean progressive death metallers Decessus, performed the band’s original song “The Hollow Descent” during the Talent Competition at the 75th-anniversary Miss World festival, as per Blabbermouth. She did not win the Talent Competition; instead, Miss World England Grace Richardson, who became the first representative from England to win a Miss World fast-track event, took first place. Grace, a Leicestershire-born performing arts graduate with experience in acting, dancing, and singing, dazzled audiences around the world with her rendition of “Over the Rainbow.“
