Danish hard rock powerhouse Volbeat released their highly anticipated new album “God Of Angels Trust” on June 6th. Following the new record, the band will embark on an extensive world tour throughout the latter half of the year across Europe and North America.

Band frontman Michael Poulsen has revealed that this time around, he wanted to create a Volbeat album without a rulebook and overthinking, trusting his instincts instead. The album, which was started last summer, was written and recorded in just about five weeks, yet the end result sounds as powerful and considered as ever. The album was recorded live in the studio with as few takes as possible, with Volbeat’s long-time collaborator Jacob Hansen serving as producer.

Kaaoszine’s sister publication Chaoszine flew to Copenhagen at the end of May to meet Poulsen and discuss his career as a metal vocalist from the early Dominus death metal days to the present and Volbeat’s brand new “God Of Angels Trust” album.
