Udo’s musical journey began as the frontman for the iconic German heavy metal band Accept, where his powerful voice helped define the band’s signature sound. Hits like “Balls to the Wall” and “Metal Heart” remain anthems of the genre to this day, solidifying Udo’s status as an influential force.
Following his time with Accept, Udo embarked on a successful solo career, forming U.D.O. and continuing to release albums that showcase his unwavering dedication to the metal genre. His unique vocal style and passion for creating raw, authentic music have endeared him to generations of fans.
U.D.O. will be releasing their next album “Touchdown” on August 25th via Atomic Fire Records and Chaoszine sat down before the band’s show at Laihia, Finland on June 10th with Udo Dirkschneider to discuss about his lengthy career as a metal vocalist in the heavy metal scene.
