Tim “Ripper” Owens is a renowned American heavy metal vocalist known for his powerful and versatile voice. He gained widespread recognition when he stepped into the role of lead singer for the legendary British heavy metal band Judas Priest in the late 1990s, following the departure of iconic frontman Rob Halford. Owens’ impressive vocal range and stage presence earned him a place in the hearts of metal fans worldwide during his time with Judas Priest. Beyond his stint with the band, he has contributed his vocal talents to various other metal projects and bands during the years including Iced Earth, Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force and Charred Walls of the Damned.

Currently Ripper is fronting KK’s Priest, the band led by former Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing. The band will be releasing their second album titled “The Sinner Rides Again” on September 29th via Napalm Records.
