Horizon Ignited’s digital single “Monument” released

After dropping their critically praised third studio album “Tides” last year, Finnish melodic death metal force Horizon Ignited return with brand-new music: the band proudly unveils their latest standalone single “Monument”, out now on all streaming platforms!

Written during the “Tides” sessions, “Monument” didn’t make the final album cut—but the band felt the song’s powerful story needed to be heard. Blending haunting beauty with raw aggression, the track explores themes of corruption, abuse of power, and the unyielding human spirit that rises against adversity.
 

The band comments:

“Monument” is an unholy union of beauty and ugliness. A story about corruption and abuse of power meets the unrelenting human spirit that unites us and helps us rise against evil.
This was also supposed to be on our latest album but didn’t quite make the cut. We are looking forward to playing this live though!”

About the Album “Tides”

“Tides” is a profound exploration of the human condition, weaving themes of fragility, resilience, and transformation into an electrifying sonic journey. Recorded with Juho Räihä (Swallow The Sun) at Inka Studio and mixed/mastered by Chris Clancy (Machine Head, Kataklysm), Tides sets a new standard for melodic death metal.
