Hard rock veterans A-Z will release their second album “A2Z²” on June 6th, 2025 via Metal Blade Records. The album picks up where their acclaimed debut left off: melodic, addictive and heavy rock is still the main focus. It features familiar names like drummer Mark Zonder and vocalist Ray Alder, both known from Fates Warning.

The first single “Nothing Is Over” is out now, and its Lovecraft inspired feel adds depth to the song.

The band is made up entirely of veterans, including Nick Van Dyk, bassist Philip Bynoe, guitarist and mixer Simone Mularoni and keyboardist Jimmy Waldo. According to Zonder, the band’s name A-Z reflects the freedom to do whatever they want without genre boundaries – and that’s why their music works. “We’re not in our twenties anymore. Now when we do it, we do it right,” he sums up.
