Austrian post-black metal band Harakiri For The Sky have unveiled a live performance video for “Funeral Dreams”, revisiting a song from their 2016 album “III: Trauma”. The footage was recorded during a special anniversary concert at Theater Akzent in Vienna, Austria, on May 1, 2026.
The performance was part of the band’s “Reliving The Trauma” tenth-anniversary shows, which celebrated a decade since the release of their third studio album. The new video offers a look at how the group has brought the record’s emotionally charged material to the stage.
“Funeral Dreams” originally appeared on “III: Trauma”, the 2016 release that helped establish Harakiri For The Sky as a distinctive name in atmospheric post-black metal. Combining black metal intensity with expansive melodic passages, the band has continued to explore that sound in the years since.
The Vienna performance was especially significant for longtime listeners: rather than presenting a conventional tour set, the anniversary concert focused on the album that gave the shows their name.
The concert recording will also be released as the band’s first live album, “Reliving The Trauma – Live At Theater Akzent”, on December 4, 2026, through AOP Records.
Recorded at the May 1 show, the live release is intended to preserve the anniversary performance and give fans who could not attend a chance to experience the concert.
The “Funeral Dreams” video serves as an advance preview of the release. It follows the band’s 2025 studio album “Scorched Earth”, which marked another chapter in their catalogue.
