Halestorm and I Prevail release a new song together

Author Lucia Bellapianta - 7.6.2024

After announcing two months ago a tour together for summer 2024 in the U.S., this unusual combo surprises again – Halestorm and I Prevail release a new song together called “can u see me in the dark?”. What we could expect that a song of them together would sound, Lzzy Hale, lead singer and guitarist of Halestorm, already described when speaking about the upcoming tour.

“This isn’t your typical summer tour. This is two worlds colliding under one haven for our collective armies. And bringing you a show unlike any we’ve done before! We have a lot of surprises in store.” Lzzy Hale, lead singer/guitarist of Halestorm

For this new song “can u see me in the dark?” the bands unite their different types of sounds. On one side we have I Prevail’s heavy tunes, breakdowns and the magic of metalcore, and on the other side Halestorm’s hard rock riffs and Lzzy Hale’s powerful rock voice. This makes the new song a perfectly blend together surprise for both fans of Halestorm and I Prevail. Lzzy Hale’s voice fits well over these metalcore tunes and Eric Vanlerberghe, who sings for I Prevail, puts some more spice in the song with his screams. Listeners will definitely love the unexpected and beautifully done breakdown in the song.

On the Instagram live right before the release, Lzzy Hale breaks it down to the right words on how to describe what is happening right now.

“What a cool full circle moment” Lzzy Hale, lead singer/guitarist of Halestorm

On the Instagram live both Lzzy Hale from Halestorm and Eric Vanlerberghe from I Prevail talked about how one year ago they met for the first time, because Halestorm saw them at a festival and stopped by to have a chat and how now, one year later, they announced a tour and now released a song together.

“It’s crazy that we pulled it off too.” Lzzy Hale, lead singer/guitarist of Halestorm

Lzzy Hale commented on how she thought it was a crazy thing that in the end this song became reality, because there are always things that can come in between and make it not work out in the end.

After this beautiful surprise of a song together, whoever has the change to see them touring together in the U.S., should not miss it!
