Post-hardcore act Hail the Sun drops new single “War Crimes”

American post-hardcore group Hail the Sun have just surfaced with a fresh single titled “War Crimes.” The track follows their earlier 2025 single “The Drooling Class” and marks another strong entry in the band’s steady stream of new music this year. “War Crimes” is now available to stream below and on major platforms.

The track was again produced and engineered by Pete Adams and Johnny Kosich in collaboration with Matt Weber and Joey Doherty.

Formed in 2009 in Chico, California, the band quickly gained recognition for their genre-blending mix of progressive rock, math rock, screamo, and post-hardcore. They rose to wider prominence after signing with Equal Vision Records in 2016, with standout releases like “Culture Scars” and “Mental Knife.”

The band’s previous album “Divine Inner Tension” was released back in 2023 and a one-off single “Secondary Worship” followed in 2024.
