Jarle Kvåle, Tons Of Rock general manager, commented on Guns N’ Roses‘ arrival: “Guns N’ Roses at a festival in Norway is bigger than what we can describe. With more than 100,000 fans for sing-alongs and parties, Ekebergsletta will be filled to the brim and marks a milestone in festival history. We are incredibly proud to extend Tons Of Rock to four festival days in June. An opening day with Guns N’ Roses will certainly set the mood for the rest of the festival, which is now seasoned with heroes and legends such as Volbeat, Iggy Pop, Puscifer, and In Flames.”

Martin Nielsen, general manager of Live Nation and chairman of Tons Of Rock, said: “To have Guns N’ Roses confirmed for a festival in Norway is sensational. Their previous concert in Norway resulted in an audience record in Western Norway, which is further proof that Tons of Rock is by far Norway’s biggest festival“.

Guns N’ Roses recently announced an extensive 2023 world tour making stops at stadiums festivals, and arenas internationally beginning in June and wrapping in October. The five-month trek kicks off in Israel on June 5, encompasses much of Europe, and crosses over to North America in August.
