Green Day will headline Coachella festival 2025 – but they’re not the only one from rock and metal on the bill

Seven rock and metal performers have been announced as part of the Coachella 2025 roster. The show will take place this spring at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California. Although it’s no secret that Coachella has shifted its lineup away from rock and metal in previous years in favor of a more pop-centric lineup, Green Day is the only rock act on the program this year. The band will be attending the festival for the first time. Both weekends’ Saturday events will be led by them. Jimmy Eat World and Misfits are also featured on both Saturdays. On both Fridays, The Prodigy are one of the top bands. Amyl and the Sniffers, hardcore rockers Speed, and the renowned punk band the Circle Jerks are a little farther down the lineup.
