The delayed Hella Mega tour featuring Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy has just kicked off with the first date. The tour was originally announced in September 2019, but because of COVID the festival could not be held in 2020.
Now finally the first of the rescheduled dates took place in Arlington on Saturday. The punk rock legends Green Day celebrated their return to live stage with a cover of rock icon KISS’s classic track “Rock And Roll All Nite“.
The cover was also noticed by both Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, who gave their approval on Twitter.
