Graspop Metal Meeting suffers weather problems: emergency plan put in place
Belgium is currently hosting the Graspop Metal Meeting festival, which runs until 23 June. However, the festival announced on social media that it has encountered weather problems.
Due to the heavy rains, the festival announced that it has put in place an emergency plan, for example closing the car parks for Wednesday, but according to the festival, they will remain closed for the duration of the festival. In addition, the programme planned for Wednesday had to be cancelled.
The Boneyard Campsite has also had to be partially closed due to the rain. The festival is advising people to stay overnight at home.
The festival will otherwise go ahead as planned, and there have been no cancellations of performers.
