A grandmother just established a crowdsurfing world record by being the oldest person to crowdsurf during a concert, as per Loudwire. Pauline Kana, 99, set the record by crowd-surfing on a level surface during country artist Brantley Gilbert‘s performance at Kid Rock’s inaugural Rock the Country concert of 2026 on May 2 in Austin, Texas. Gilbert introduced Kana, known as “Gangster Granny” on her grandson’s TikTok account, to the audience from the platform before lifting her up and strapping her in to complete her prophecy. According to a video posted on social media, 20,000 people attended the show. Kana’s grandson Ross Smith has a large social media following because to his films with Gangster Granny.
Pauline crowd surfed over multiple rows of people at the tender age of 99, achieving this rocking Guinness World Records title
Smith is continuously sharing humorous content with Gangster Granny, such as holding up “Run if you think I’m sexy” placards, asking John Cena to marry her, flipping the double bird at the camera, and much more. She’s someone we should all want to be someday, especially if it means breaking records at concerts.
