A short while ago, the annual music industry awards ceremony, the Grammy Awards, took place again. The ceremony once again honoured musicians from all over the world.

The gala also paid tribute to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who recently passed away. Comedian and TV personality Trevor Noah, who hosted the gala, said the following when he said that the Foo Fighters were due to perform at the event:

“They [Foo Fighters], of course, are not here due to the tragic passing of their legendary drummer, Taylor Hawkins. Our thoughts go out to Taylor’s family, his friends, the Foo Fighter family and all their fans around the globe.”

The gala was followed by a video commemorating Hawkins’ career, which also featured the Foo Fighters’ song “My Hero”.
