On October 10th, thrash metal legends Slayer played their second reunion concert. The band performed at last month’s “Riot Fest” in Chicago, Illinois, their first event since 2019. Earlier this year, the band had reformed with the goal of playing three festivals this fall. Weather ultimately put a stop to their plans to perform a second gig at Louisville, Kentucky’s yearly “Louder Than Life” festival. The well-known band made a comeback last night when they performed as the main act on the first night of this year’s “Aftershock” festival in Sacramento, California. It appears that the band played essentially the same set list as their “Riot Fest” event, thus there were no surprises.
