This was the first Gore. song ever written. It is about a tumultuous, agonizing parent-child relationship. A relationship in which a parent will declare his love of his children to everyone in the world, except for the children he speaks of. Where parents are screaming at 5am, and the whole house feels like it’s on fire. This song is the final song of ABTNB. It shows the destruction of a child’s resilience, aided by the other interpersonal stories told in ABTNB. Every single song further transforms a child from innocence to cynicism and resentment.
