Multi-platinum occult metal band Ghost has unveiled their new single “Satanized” along with the first appearance of their latest frontman persona, Papa V Perpetua. As is tradition, mastermind Tobias Forge has assumed this new character for the upcoming tour cycle.

The band’s sixth studio album “Skeletá” will be released on April 25 through Loma Vista Recordings. Forge once again produced the album under his pseudonym Gene Walker, with mixing handled by Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Linkin Park) and Dan Malsch (Avenged Sevenfold, Gojira).

According to press materials, “Skeletá” is Ghost‘s “most unflinchingly introspective work to date,” with lyrics that create “distinct individual emotional vistas” across its 10 tracks, “as if in a dialogue with oneself in a mirror.” This marks a departure from previous albums that focused on external themes like the rise and fall of empires (“Impera”) or historical plagues (“Prequelle”).

The album’s tracklist includes:

  1. “Peacefield”
  2. “Lachryma”
  3. “Satanized”
  4. “Guiding Lights”
  5. “De Profundis Borealis”
  6. “Cenotaph”
  7. “Missilia Amori”
  8. “Marks Of The Evil One”
  9. “Umbra”
  10. “Excelsis”

Ghost has also launched “The Satanizer,” a web app that will “Satanize” submitted photos at i.ghost-official.com/Satanizer.

The band’s upcoming world tour begins April 15 in Manchester, UK and includes extensive dates across Europe, North America, and Mexico through September 2025.
