Ghost‘s sixth studio album, Skeletá, has gained a tremendous accomplishment. The Swedish group just made their Billboard 200 debut at number one, selling an astounding 86,000 album-equivalent units in the first week of the record’s release. Traditional album sales accounted for an astounding 89% of that total revenue. The band previously peaked at number two on the charts with “Impera” from 2022, but this is their highest ranking to date. According to Billboard, 77,000 of those copies were sold as album sales, while another 9,000 were streaming equivalent album units, which equated to 12.45 million listens to the album’s tracks. With more than 15 vinyl versions of “Skeletá” available, vinyl sold slightly more than 44,000 copies.
