Ghost cancel Madrid show due to production limitations

Swedish occult rockers Ghost have announced the cancellation of their upcoming Madrid performance on their current “Skeletour” run. The Grammy-winning band released a statement today explaining that their April 30th show at Palacio Vistalegre cannot proceed due to venue limitations.
According to the announcement, the cancellation stems from safety concerns regarding the venue’s inability to properly support the weight and scale of Ghost’s elaborate stage production. Despite efforts to relocate the performance to Madrid’s Movistar Arena, scheduling conflicts with basketball league games made this alternative impossible.
The band expressed their disappointment, stating they are “devastated” by the circumstances and promised fans they would make “every attempt possible” to return to Madrid with a show worthy of their Spanish audience. Ticket refunds will be processed at original points of purchase beginning April 30th.
