German metalcore act The Narrator release new single “Two Lives”

German modern metalcore act The Narrator have dropped a music video for their new single “Two Lives,” taken from their upcoming sophomore album, “Phosphor.”

Formed in 2017 in the Ruhr area, the band broke through with their 2024 debut “Lore,” which has since crossed 6.5 million streams on Spotify.

According to the band, “Two Lives” captures the emotional turmoil of a generation caught between two worlds, exploring the pressure and conflict that come with it. The track builds from melodic hooks and a captivating chorus into a metalcore finale.

“Phosphor” arrives on May 8, 2026, via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to “Lore” features ten tracks and, in the band’s own words, responds to global crisis through inner exhaustion, showing how close hope and self-destruction sit to each other.
