German doom duo Grin release new single “Incantation” from upcoming album

Berlin-based psychedelic doom duo Grin has unleashed their latest single “Incantation”, the fifth taste of their upcoming album “Acid Gods”. The full album will drop on May 30th, 2025, through The Lasting Dose Records.

The band, formed by married couple Sabine (bass) and Jan Oberg (drums, vocals), is known for their stripped-down but crushing sound. With fuzzed-out bass, thunderous drums, and gritty vocals, Grin crafts an immersive, heavy-hitting atmosphere.

“Acid Gods” will mark the band’s fifth full-length release. It was recorded at Hidden Planet Studio in Berlin, with Jan Oberg handling production, mixing, and mastering duties. The album’s visuals are the work of artists Dawid M. Piprek and Caspar Orfgen (of DAEVAR).

The new single follows previous releases from the album: “Beneath The Altar”, “Unshut”, “Nocturno”, and “Drag Me Down” — setting the stage for what promises to be another massive slab of doom from the Berlin duo.
