Gary Holt’s wife on Slayer’s reunion: tells haters “Don’t Go”

Slayer‘s reunion has been the subject of much discussion online. Some people feel betrayed by the group going back on their word, but others are excited to have the chance to catch them live. There has been a lot of speculation on the internet about the band’s plans to return from retirement and their motivations.

In response, Lisa Holt, wife of Slayer and Exodus guitarist Gary Holt, shared her thoughts about this reunion, and adressed some of the various theories as to why they’ve decided to do so.

What she shared on Facebook can be read below:

Yes,it’s true..and an exciting adventure for the band and fans ! To all the people saying “they are liars” “they must have ran out of money” “its not Slayer without so and so” ..I have an idea for you all…DON’T GO.. and for all the people who did go to the final tour dates and enjoyed it…awesome!! This isn’t a “TOUR” it’s some dates..and GREAT NEWS!!! And everyone that thinks they know all the inside info..you can’t possibly know.so just enjoy the fact that this amazing band will play some amazing shows this year…go or don’t..nobody cares!!!!!
